SlopSlappy

Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026. Applies to SlopSlappy 1.6 and later.

SlopSlappy is a browser extension that plays bundled voice clips when you click a button it places next to AI chat answers. It collects no data. This page explains what it does and doesn't do in enough detail that you can verify it against the source code.

What we collect

Nothing. SlopSlappy has no server, no account system, no analytics and no crash reporting. It never makes a network request after it's installed. We don't know who has installed it, how often it's used, or what you say to your AI.

Your chats

SlopSlappy does not read, store or transmit the text of your conversations. To decide where to place the slipper, it looks at the page's buttons (Copy, Retry, Regenerate, vote icons) and their accessibility labels. It never inspects the content of an answer or anything you typed.

Permissions

SlopSlappy requests no host permissions. It only works on chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com and manus.im, and only when you activate it.

Microphone

Two features use the microphone, and both ask for it only when you take an action.

You can revoke microphone access at any time from Chrome's site settings.

Settings

Your choices in the settings panel (language, voice, intensity, timer and similar) live only in the open chat tab and reset when you reload it. The extension doesn't write them to disk or sync them anywhere. The only thing it stores is My Voice recordings, as described above.

Audio content

All 2,522 voice clips are packaged inside the extension. All voices are AI-performed. Persona voices are original fictional characters and parodies; no real person's voice was cloned and none are celebrity voices, authentic recordings or historical quotations.

Children

SlopSlappy contains strong language and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published here and the date at the top updated. The extension's behaviour can be checked at any time against the open-source code on GitHub.
